Chen Yu
Chen Yu
Male, born in 1966, doctoral and professor level senior engineer. Long term commitment to the synthesis and application development of plastic functional additives, as well as research on the functionalization of polymer materials. Led and participated in over 40 research projects on polymer materials and their additives. He has made contributions to the localization of plastic light stabilizers, anti-static agents, flame retardants, functional polymer materials, and the functionalization of plastic products. He has won 8 provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress awards, applied for 49 invention patents, obtained 23 authorized invention patents, published more than 70 research papers on polymer additives, authored five monographs, and participated in the writing of four monographs. He has also served as a visiting professor at Harbin Institute of Technology, Beijing Business University, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and Fujian Normal University, guiding multiple master's students. Formerly serving as the Vice Chairman of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, currently serving as the Chairman of the Beijing Chemical Industry Association, Vice Chairman of the China Plastics Association Expert Committee, and TC48 member of the National Plastic Products Standardization Committee.

Professor and doctoral advisor at the Department of Polymer Science, Fudan University. Born in June 1977, graduated from the Department of Chemistry at Fudan University in 2000 with a bachelor's degree, graduated from the Department of Polymer Science at Fudan University in 2008 with a doctoral degree, and engaged in postdoctoral research at the Advanced Materials Laboratory at Fudan University from 2008 to 2010. Currently, he is a professor in the Department of Polymer Science at Fudan University. Mainly committed to the synthesis of functional polymers, functionalization modification of nanomaterials, and their application research in drug carriers and lithium-ion power batteries. More than 90 SCI papers have been published.

Winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, selected as an outstanding talent in the new century by the Ministry of Education, a leader in scientific and technological innovation under the National Ten Thousand Talents Plan, and a specially appointed professor of Changjiang Scholars by the Ministry of Education. Served as the Director of the National High Performance Thermoplastic Elastomer Engineering Laboratory in the Petroleum and Chemical Industry, Deputy Secretary General of the Polymer Materials and Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society for Materials Research, Director of the 6th Council of the Chinese Society for Instrument Functional Materials, Vice Chairman of the Mineral Composite Materials Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Composite Materials, and Vice Chairman of the Micro Nano Composite Materials Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Composite Materials, Vice Secretary General of the Rubber and Plastic Products Green Manufacturing Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, member of the 8th Committee of the Rubber Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, and senior member of the Composite Materials Society. I have led over 20 national key projects, published over 160 SCI papers, authorized over 50 invention patents, and won 2 second prizes for national technological invention as the second author. I have also won 5 first prizes for provincial and ministerial level technological invention/technological progress as the main author.

Led the establishment of 10 provincial-level and municipal scientific research platforms, including the Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory of Fireproof and Flame retardant Materials, the Fujian Provincial Solid Surface Coating Material Technology Development Base, the Fujian Provincial High Polymer Flame retardant and Fireproof Material Industry Technology Innovation Research Institute, the Coating Materials Branch of the Fujian Collaborative Innovation Institute, the Fujian Provincial High Polymer Material Manufacturing Industry Public Technology Service Platform, and the Xiamen High Polymer Material Testing Public Service Platform.

Professor, doctoral supervisor, obtained a doctoral degree in Polymer Materials Processing from Sichuan University in 1993. Postdoctoral fellow at Akron University in the United States from May 1995 to December 1997, Humboldt Scholar at Freiburg University in Germany from August 1999 to September 2000. In 1999, he was awarded the National Outstanding Youth Fund. Currently serving as the academic and technical leader of Sichuan Province, director of the Cellulose Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, and vice chairman of the China Plastic Processing Association; In 2010, he was awarded the honorary title of National exemplary individual (National model worker) by the State Council. In 2011, he was the academic leader of the national innovation group. In 2013, he was selected into the National Hundred and Ten Thousand Talents Project of the Ministry of Education. Associate Editor in Chief of International Journal Polymer, International Editorial Board Member of International Journal Composites Science and Technology, Editorial Board Member of Domestic Journal Polymer Journal, Journal of Higher Education Chemistry (Chinese English Edition), Journal of Functional Polymer, and other journals, and Member of the AWPP Executive Committee of the Asian Polymer Processing Society.
Professor Fu Qiang is mainly engaged in the research of polymer material molding and processing, polymer blending modification, and nanocomposites. He is responsible for undertaking multiple scientific research projects such as the Ministry of Science and Technology's 973/863, the National Natural Science Foundation's major instruments, major international cooperation, key and general research, the Ministry of Education, and the Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Commission, as well as R&D projects in cooperation with enterprises. More than 600 academic papers have been published, more than 400 have been indexed by SCI, and more than 15000 citations have been cited by SCI. More than 50 national invention patents have been granted. Selected annually on the Elsevier China High Cited Scholars List (Materials) from 2014 to 2019; Received the Best Article Award at the "Feng Xinde Polymer Award" by the internationally renowned polymer journal Polymer (2009 and 2020); Wang Baoren Award for Polymer Basic Research of the Chinese Chemical Society (2017); Honorary Award for Polymer Invitation Report of the Chinese Chemical Society (2007).
